Fire at Her Fingertips by Rebecca Crunden
Fire at Her Fingertips is a short story by Rebecca Crunden

Written in the second person, Fire at Her Fingertips is about a young woman who lives with daily rejection by her family. She has nothing, not even a birthday, to call her own. Nothing, except the flames at her fingertips, that is.

She has learned not to seek their praise, but will she ever find love and acceptance within her reach? You will have to read this intriguing little story to find out.

Fire at Her Fingertips is a satisfying short read. I’ve read several of Crunden’s books, including her shorter works Dust & Lightning and The Man and the Crow

I’m always impressed by how much character development and world-building Crunden fits into her short stories and novellas. She is truly gifted in the art of short-form writing.

Fire at Her Fingertips will not be the last work of Crunden’s that I read. Fortunately, she had a vast library of books for me to choose from for a future read!
